Microsoft Announce Cloud Channel Incentives to help partners on the Final Lap

Microsoft has announced a new channel incentive designed for both Unmanaged and Managed Partners running from February 1st  2016 to June 30th 2016. The launch of the “Sprint to the Finish” partner incentives encourages partners to accelerate their Microsoft cloud services activations to cross the line and finish strongly on both the Open and CSP licensing programmes.

For Unmanaged partners the incentives are geared around O365 and CRM Online in which partners can make significant money from selling into these targeted solutions:

Office 365 – Win New Customers:

The first of these allows for each Unmanaged/ Sure-Step partner to receive up to a maximum $10,000. This is based on selling and activating O365 seats with hero SKU’s such as E3, E4 and the newly launched E5 commanding more of a pay-out than the Office Plans.

Eligibility and Restrictions:

  • All customer adds must be a net new Office 365 customer*.
  • Partner must exceed 3 net new customer adds in offer period to be eligible.
  • Minimum 5 seats per customer. Max 50 seats per customer.
  • Minimum of $250 and maximum of $10,000 partner pay-out.
  • All customers must demonstrate “active usage” on Office 365 for 2 subsequent months on greater than 50% of the Office 365 seats by final cutoff date. See T&Cs for specific definition of “active usage”*.
  • Open and CSP licensing programs only are in scope and are combined.

CRM Online Attach and Win:

The second Unmanaged partner incentive focuses on attachment of CRM Online. Partners are able to earn up to a massive $100,000 for new and existing customers. Again this is based on selling particular CRM SKU’s into your existing customer base.

  • Applies to new and existing customers
  • Payout of $120 per seat
  • Minimum of 5 seats per customer
  • Maximum of 10 seats per customer
  • Minimum of $250 and maximum of $100,000 partner payout
  • Open and CSP licensing programs only are in scope and are combined.

Overall eligibility Guidelines for both incentives:

  • Incentives running from February 1st to June 30th, 2016
  • Resellers only. No distributors or other partner types
  • Partner must be listed as customer’s POR for payout eligibility.
  • All customers must be current on payments for partner to receive payout
  • All partner must be registered on the Incentives Portal by June 1st
